Israfood 2012

The annual Israfood “food show” begins on Tuesday the 29th ends on the 1st of December at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds. This is a chance to see what’s new in the Israeli food industry. Some years are better than others as importers display the items that will soon hit your local supermarket’s shelves.(Who can forget the "pizza cone")  There’s also a chance to discover new locally produced raw materials.

This is a trade show and entry is by invitation only. The public is welcome to buy tickets at 100NIS each…no strollers and no kids  under 18 allowed.  NY5CDUBTV6XG

There are also a few workshops offered that involve a separate fee. The first Israeli chef to be awarded 2 Michelin stars – Moshik Roth from 't Brouwerskolkje in Overveen, The Netherlands will conduct a series of workshops. The second series of workshops are by Philippe Van Cayseele, technical director of Callebaut Chocolate.
