Sagra Delle Castagne…in January
The traditional chestnut festival is held throughout small towns in Italy during the month of October. Tel Aviv is finally having Fall temperatures so it’s the perfect week to have a local Sagra Delle Castange at Cucina Tamar.
This is the 4th year of that Cucina Tamar will hold a chestnut festival with wines supplied by the Scottish Wine Co. The food courses will be based on fresh chestnuts which are now readily available in our local supermarkets. Enjoy chestnut gnocchi, herbed chestnut patties and chestnut tart and ice cream.
Reservations are a must. The festival will take place on Saturday the 22nd beginning at noon. Price per person – 160 NIS. Phone 03-639-0407.
