Succot at the Diaspora Museum
T in Tel Aviv spent the morning at Bet Hatfusot (The Diaspora Museum) where the museum along with the Diaspora Ministry is sponsoring the “Family Festival” (thru Tuesday).
The theme is the family tree. Inside the museum there are banks of computers set up for family’s to begin building their family trees and outside there are crafts for kids (for 5 NIS each), contemporary and klezmer music shows throughout the day. Although the forecast is for more heat tomorrow and Tuesday the festival is especially worthwhile for younger kids. Entrance to the museum exhibitions is free during the festival.
There’s a sukkah for those who want to bring their own lunch and an exhibition of sukkot designed by artists from around the world.
