Twitter....for those that like to keep it brief!

E mail, Facebook, text messages and Twitter! Who has time for all of this communication?

T in Tel Aviv has attracted over 300 followers in about a month's time and found some really fun Tweeple (people that use Twitter) to follow....or at least glance at from time to time.

How about Martha Stewart? Martha "tweeted" during her recent visit to the South of France. It can be a challenge to post a recipe in under 140 characters, the Twitter post limit. Leave it to Martha Stewart to do it!

Coolil – Almost like shopping in Tel Aviv

Coolil founder Eran Shor moved to New York 3 years ago bringing with him cool clothing and accessories from Israel. Thence Coolil was born.

On the Coolil website you can purchase the latest jewelry and accessories from 10 Israeli designers without leaving the U.S. T in Tel Aviv prefers that you visit Israel but if that’s not possible check out the designs of leather designer Daniella Lahavi, the very “in” Heidi diaper bags and Anat Eyal’s glass jewelry.

It’s Ice Cream Time in Tel Aviv

There’s no question that summer has arrived in Tel Aviv. Daytime temperatures are in the 90’s and the humidity numbers are up there as well. No better time than now to make a short tour of the best of frozen treats in Tel Aviv.

T in Tel Aviv’s favorite ice cream shops are:

Fragola – 215 Ben Yehuda.
Vaniglia – Basel Square
Iceberg Vulcana – Tel Aviv Port (Pizza too!)
Dr. Lek – Ibn Gvirol St., Near the clock tower in Jaffa

Take a look at this new ice cream scoop from Cusipro. As a Los Angeles native I was reminded of the ice cream scoops at the Thrifty Drug Stores (now known at Rite Aid). Remember the cylindrical scoops stacked on top of one another????

The Cuisipro Ice Cream Scoop & Stack was awarded the 2009 Design Plus Award at the Ambiente consumer goods trade fair in Frankfurt. The specs claim that this scoop cuts through even the hardest ice cream. The scoop is placed on top of the ice cream and the plunger like handle is firmly pressed into the ice until the cylinder is free. The ice cream is released by pressing the button on top of the handle. This is this season’s “can live without but gotta have” gadget.
