Great news for Tel Avivians. As of May 5, 2009 the year old Tel Aviv Farmer’s Market in the Tel Aviv Port will also be open on Tuesdays from 15:00 – 22:00. If you’re like T in Tel Aviv you prefer doing your food shopping early in the week so the addition of Tuesdays is most welcomed.
Over 50 producers of fine quality and most importantly fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, cheeses, humous etc. are at the market every week. The market is also ecological – no plastic bags – so don’t forget to bring your shopping bags.
